It has been quite sometime that we have had reports from users facing “Force Close”s in iCommuteLess at different times. On closer scrutiny and help from a lot of you, we have identified the issue on hand. It appears that the issue occurs occasionally due to lack of memory for the apps that are running in the background, simultaneously. Android OS at such times, happily hijacks the memory from the running apps by shutting them down.
We have now ensured that if on account of low memory, there is a chance of such a shutdown, the app will Stop itself by saving all the data upto that point of commute and notifying you of such a scenario (so that there is no data loss as such). Hopefully this should address this concern. We are continuously working on bettering this solution and will release updates in the coming future.
